The Macadamia House is a completed custom design-build home in Maine, turned over to the homeowner on February 12, 2026, nearly six months to the day from initial lot clearing. Designed and built by Anchorpoint Management, this 2,700-square-foot ranch was created with comfort, function, and multi-generational living in mind. The home features 3 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, two primary suites, a 3-car garage, an attached screen room, a custom kitchen with a 14-foot island, custom built-ins, a propane fireplace, full home standby generator, paver patio, and mini-split system. From concept, drawings, permitting, and site preparation through final construction, Anchorpoint led the full design-build process, ensuring the homeowner’s vision stayed aligned from the first idea to move-in day. This project is a powerful example of what happens when thoughtful planning, clear communication, and skilled craftsmanship come together to bring a dream home to life.
Every project starts with a piece of land and an idea. For the Macadamia House, those ideas started to take shape early 2025 when we broke ground on a new custom home. As a design-build project, Anchorpoint had been involved from the start—working through drawings, permits, and planning before a shovel ever touched the soil.
The goal for this house was simple: create a home that reflects the owner’s needs while keeping the process clear and efficient. With design-build, there’s no hand-off between architect and contractor. Our team managed both sides, so the vision and the construction stay aligned from day one. That approach helped to avoid surprises, keeps timelines realistic, and ensure decisions were made with the finished home in mind.
