Position Overview

The Project Manager / Construction Manager is a senior-level leadership role responsible for the comprehensive oversight of construction projects and subcontractor performance at Anchorpoint Management.

This position oversees projects from pre-construction planning through final completion, ensuring execution aligns with scope, schedule, budget, and Anchorpoint’s standard of excellence. The role requires strong field leadership, disciplined subcontractor management, structured communication, and financial awareness.

This individual serves as the primary construction authority on assigned projects and plays a critical role in protecting the company’s reputation, profitability, and client experience.

Key Responsibilities

Project Oversight & Execution

Oversee residential and high-end renovation projects from pre-construction through closeout
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules
Ensure adherence to scope, construction documents, and quality standards
Monitor site progress and proactively address risks or delays
Coordinate inspections and ensure compliance with local and state building codes
Maintain consistent job site presence to ensure execution aligns with expectations

Subcontractor Management & Field Leadership

Manage and oversee all subcontractors and trade partners
Coordinate scheduling and sequencing of trades
Set clear expectations for quality, performance, and professionalism
Hold subcontractors accountable to timelines and standards
Resolve field challenges promptly and effectively
Maintain a safe, organized, and professional job site environment

Client Communication & Experience

Serve as the primary construction contact for clients during the build phase
Provide consistent, professional progress updates
Communicate schedule adjustments or scope changes clearly and proactively
Ensure client confidence through organization, transparency, and responsiveness
Represent Anchorpoint’s values and standards at all times

Budget & Financial Oversight

Monitor job costs and maintain alignment with approved budgets
Review and approve subcontractor invoices for accuracy and scope compliance
Manage and document change orders
Track project financial performance in coordination with leadership
Protect project profitability through disciplined cost management

Systems, Documentation & Reporting

Utilize project management software to track schedules, selections, change orders, and job progress
Maintain organized documentation for all active projects
Provide accurate and timely reporting to leadership
Track open items and ensure follow-through across trades and team members
Contribute to process improvements that strengthen operational efficiency

Qualifications & Skills

Minimum 5+ years of experience in construction management or project management
Strong knowledge of residential construction practices and sequencing
Experience managing subcontractors and multi-trade coordination
Proven ability to manage schedules and budgets simultaneously
Ability to read and interpret construction documents and plans
Strong leadership presence in the field
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with project management software and digital tools
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and accountable
Professional, decisive, and solutions-focused
